The invention concerns a plasma facility intended in particular for the low-temperature plasma treatment of solids containing alkyl groups. The facility comprises a treatment reactor and associated plasma-producing devices. It is proposed that the treatment reactor (12) should be provided with a device (14) for producing a melt of the solid (24) which is to undergo treatment.
