The table has a VDU support (2) protruding over the rear or side edge of the table panel (1.1) and attached to the table via a coupling mechanism (3.1,3.2,4.1). The support has a baseplate (2.1) coupled to a frame part below the table panel and adjustable parallel to the rear or side edge.The coupling mechanism has holding (3.2) and clamping devices (3.1), the baseplate is attached to the coupling mechanism and the coupling mechanism can be adjusted along the frame part after loosening the clamp arrangement.
