A pocket is formed from two strips of film by coating one strip with adhesive, disposing a protective sheet p which is not very adhesive between the two films, gluing the two films together and transversely sectioning or perforating the resulting strip near the edge of the protective sheet such that pockets are formed joined by the adhesive on three sides with a portion p" of the protective sheet preventing adhesion of the strips on the fourth side until it is removed and a small residual portion p"' of the protective sheet is left disposed between the films at the opposite, closed, edge. One or more transverse cut lines d1 are provided in the protective sheet to allow removal of only the end portion. Half-moon cuts d2 may be provided to aid removal of a portion p" of the protective sheet and cuts d3 may be used to aid opening the pocket. <IMAGE> |
