The terminal has a standard motherboard from a current microcomputer (13) with daughterboards located in an electromagnetic shield (17,21). The daughterboards comprise standard input and output modules and a specific module which preprocesses in real time information about specific functions leaving the mothercard to process developed software. The equipment is housed in a box (10) consisting of upper and lower sections (11,12) with orifices for card connection (21). It includes a power supply (25) and readers for a hard disk (27) and floppy disk (28). Standard facilitates such as liquid crystal display screen (30), keyboard with readers (32) and scanner (33) are integrated into the design.
