<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of ozone from oxygen in air in trouble of a fan or a fan motor in an apparatus for removing ethylene capable of generating the ozone from the oxygen in the air by irradiating ultraviolet rays and oxidizing the ethylene so as to decompose excess ozone. CONSTITUTION: This apparatus for removing ethylene comprises a fan motor 3 containing an internal thermostat 12 operable by a rise in winding wire temperature and further a means for stopping the fan motor 3 when the internal thermostat 12 is operated and putting out an ultraviolet lamp 4 in the apparatus for removing the ethylene equipped with a fan for passing a circulating gas through a easing, the fan motor 3 for driving the fan and the ultraviolet lamp 4 for irradiating ultraviolet rays for generating and decomposing the ozone.</p> |
