PURPOSE: To obtain an ion deposition recording head in which the assembling steps are reduced and which can be manufactured at a low cost by superposing an ion flow control electrode on a driving board having a driving circuit for selectively driving the electrode. CONSTITUTION: An ion generator 13 has a function for generating ions by applying a predetermined voltage to terminals 13a, 13b disposed at both ends of a main scanning direction X. Fittings 45a to 46d as conducting members are passed through the terminals 13a, 13b from the sides of driving boards 40a, 40b, connected to wiring patterns on the boards 40a, 40b to supply power from a drive IC. A control board 30 bent in a U-shaped section covers an end groove 12, and is so mounted as to be superposed on the ends of the board 40a, 40b. Thus, the control electrode is directly connected to the driving circuit, thereby reducing the assembling steps. |
