PURPOSE: To provide a mast incorporating device for electric climbing crane, which can efficiently incorporate a joint mast into a joining device with an electric cylinder without damaging structural equipment. CONSTITUTION: A hoisting arm 5, which is loaded with a joint mast 1x to be newly joined and which stand the joint mast 1x from the laid condition so as to house it in a joining device, is provided. As a driving device for driving the hoisting arm 5, an electric cylinder 6 is provided, and a speed controlling inverter is provided in a power circuit of the electric cylinder 6. A hoisting angle detecting unit 8 for detecting the hoisting angleθof the hoisting arm 5 or the angle corresponding to the hoisting angle is fitted to the hoisting arm 5 or the electric cylinder 6. The hoisting angle detecting unit 8 is formed as a part of an inverter control signal forming circuit, and inputs the inverter output frequency control signal for lowering the speed of the electric cylinder 6 when the hoisting arm 5 comes close to the standing condition to the inverter.
