The material strip is moved relatively to the device, has a rotatable tube axis (4) and on which are fitted elliptical plates (6). The tube axis is arranged across the material strip movement direction. The tube axis extends through the centre of the plates. The plates are fitted at an axial distance from one another in order to rotate with the tube axis. The plates are so inclined around their small axis in relation to the tube axis that they have a circular axial projecting. The tube axis has openings (8a,8b) on opposite sides around at least a part of the plates. A valve component (10,11,12) is arranged inside the tube axis so that in specific rotation positions it connects a part of the openings in the tube axis to a compressed air source, thereby producing air jets directed in the required manner. |
