<p>PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive detecting apparatus which can easily detect whether a hot-melt adhesive is correctly applied or not, with a count of necessary parts minimized and a high degree of freedom kept for installation to a line. CONSTITUTION: The detecting apparatus synthesizes digital pulse signals from a solenoid valve 3a and an infrared sensor 4 at an OR circuit 31 and forms a fresh signal at a T-FF33 which is maintained in the length of rises of a pair of pulse signals. The signal is compared with an inverted output signal of the solenoid valve 3a which is an output from a NOT circuit 32. When the inverted output signal is longer, the hot-melt adhesive is judged to be correctly discharged.</p> |
