PURPOSE: To provide a cell for a fuel cell having an air electrode with high mechanical strength in spite of having suitable open pores, and low specific resistance between the air electrode and a solid electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: An air electrode 2 is arranged on one side of a solid electrolyte 1 and a fuel electrode 3 is arranged on the other side. The air electrode is made of a porous ceramic sinter having LaMnO3 base perovskite composite oxide crystal as the skeleton. The ratio of pores having a pore diameter of 4.0μm or less of pores contained in the sinter to the total pore volume is specified to 70% or more. The surface roughness (Ra) of the sinter is 0.05-8.8μm. |
