PURPOSE: To enable the effective use of a stand-by elevator by a passenger waiting for the stand-by elevator when a plurality of elevators are together standing by on the same floor as the passenger is waiting. CONSTITUTION: An elevator comprises elevator landing buttons 1U-ND; a cage position detecting relay contacts 1F-NF; operation direction detecting relays UP and DN; a code detecting device A; a door full closing detecting relay contact D; and a door closing command relay B. When a plurality of elevators are under waiting at the same floor and an advance elevator opens a door, by inputting a code from a landing button, the door of a subsequent elevator under waiting with a door closed is opened. |
