<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of stapling the surface of a paper bundle in a paper sheet postprocessing device in the direction from above. CONSTITUTION: In the case where the paper sheet is sorted and ejected with its front surface upward by a sorting and ejecting means of the paper postprocessing device 5 based on the result discriminated by a discrimination means at a reader part 1, the paper sheet is stapled from the upside to the downside by the arranging and filing means of the device 5. In the case where the paper sheet is sorted and ejected with its back surface upward by the sorting and ejecting means, the arranging and filing means is reversed so as to staple the paper sheet from the downside upward.</p> |
