RETRIEVING SYSTEM FOR INFORMATION ON PRODUCTION OF PHOTOGRAPHIC FILM

PURPOSE: To quickly retrieve a production device by the use of identification mark put on a photographic film. CONSTITUTION: A film winding device holds a cartridge bearing different identification marks on its outer surface and reads one of these marks. Then the film winding device burns the same identification information as the read identification mark into a photographic film in a latent image and winds the film while holding the cartridge. A quality data collection device 81 monitors each film winding device reading its identification mark and adds the auxiliary data consisting of a code which specifies at least the film winding device that read each identification mark for generation of the production data. This production data is sent to a host computer 83 which stores other production data, and the terminal equipments 98 and 99 of a quality assurance part 87 and a business part 88 are connected to the computer 83 via a telephone circuit 89. The identification marks are retrieved and inputted through both equipments 98 and 99 so that the corresponding one of those production data stored in the computer 83 is read out.
