<p>PURPOSE: To provide a programmable controller capable of monitoring the information of a system such as a CPU unit in real time without using a sequence program for debugging or measuring instrument. CONSTITUTION: In the programmable controller(PC) for controlling controlled system equipment such as industrial equipment based on the stored sequence program, the internal operating state of a CPU unit 1A provided with a means for receiving a processing request from external peripheral equipment by communication and informing external peripheral equipment 2A of a processing response from the CPU unit 1A and a means for measuring various kinds of time or the number of valid times of reported by the CPU unit 1A and the external peripheral equipment 2A provided with a means for requesting measurement to the CPU unit 1A and reading the result. Thus, the operating state of the PC can be precisely monitored only by the connection with the external peripheral equipment 2A. Further, at the time of operation defect, the factor can be easily investigated.</p> |
