SPRAY TYPE ABSORPTION COLUMN OF EXHAUST GAS DESULFURIZATION EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the compactification of the spray type absorption column of exhaust gas desulfurization equipment to reduce power consumption.

SOLUTION: In the spray type absorption column of exhaust gas desulfurization equipment, the spray type absorption column is partitioned by an inner partition plate 56 so as to form opening parts 52 and 54 above and below the partition plate 56 and a liquid seal is formed to the lower part of the partition plate 56 by an absorbing solution tank 38 to cut off a gas flow. The direction of the gas flow is reversed in the vicinity of the top part of the column to form a gas up-flow part 10 and a gas down-flow part 12. A main circulating-spray header 58 is incorporated in the inner partition plate 56 to form an integrated structure.
