Conductive coating layers (2a, 2b), which are formed on an outer peripheral surface side and/or an inner peripheral surface side of a substrate (2) for bellows (1), are formed by diffusion bonding. The diffusion bonding involves laminating plate-like conductive coating layers (2a, 2b) on at least one end surface side of a plate-like substrate (2), and then performing diffusion bonding on the substrate (2) and the conductive coating layers (2a, 2b). After molding the diffusion-bonded laminate into a cylindrical body by a drawing process, the side walls of the cylindrical body are molded into a bellow shape. Bellows provided with conductive coating layers with a more uniform thickness, and having sufficiently good properties (mechanical properties and electrical properties) can thus be obtained. |
