<p>The proposed sports exercise device is intended for use by sportsmen for general physical training and exercise and for use in rehabilitative physiotherapy. It comprises a tubular rigid semi-arc element through which is passed an elastic element whose free ends are attached by a rapidly disengageable joint to a cross bar. The exerciser can also be provided with a second rigid tubular semi-arc element through which passes a similar elastic element whose ends are attached to the cross bar. Interchangeable devices can be fitted to the cross bar to allow the grip to be varied in terms of wrist position and separation.</p> |
