PERMANENT CURRENT SWITCH

PURPOSE: To provide the title permanent current switch causing no quenching under the normal operation. CONSTITUTION: FRP cylinders 3, 4 are engaged with both ends of a metallic cylinder 1. A spiral trench is provided on the FRP periphery of rolling in part 4 and rolling out part 3 so as to be filled up with a rolling out wire 9. Next, a trench part is formed in a copper line in the rolling out wire 9 wherein a super conductive line is buried using a solder. The surface of the rolling out line 9 is not insulated but directly brought into contact with a refrigerent. Through these procedures, both performances of 'cooling' and 'fixation' of the super conductive line can be improved thereby enabling the title permanent current switch hardly quenched to be obtained.
