<p>PURPOSE: To reduce inter-cluster data transfer and to improve the efficiency of communication protocol processing and I/O processing in a multi-cluster system. CONSTITUTION: A sub-OS control mechanism 11 in a back end cluster 10 receives a user data transmission request from a user program 19 and informs a user data protocol processing request to an OS control mechanism 2 in a front end cluster 1. The mechanism 2 executes protocol processing by a protocol processing executing means 3, and when processing for referring to all data is necessary, stores the processing request in a request storing buffer 8. The mechanism 11 processes the request stored in the buffer 8, prepares transmission data from a protocol processing result, a processing result of the stored request and transmission data from user data by the use of a transmission data preparing means 13 and transmits the transmission data to a transmitted destination through a local network driver 20 and a network connection mechanism 21.</p> |
