In a transporting safeguard for objects held by supports on a receiving plate, at least one support is movable and actuates a lever which secures the object. Two movable supports and two levers for securing are preferably provided, the two supports lying on both sides of the centre of gravity of the object and being coupled to one another. By means of a locking device, the levers can automatically be locked in their securing position.
