PURPOSE: To check any malfunction in an antiscanning function. CONSTITUTION: For example, a person trying to steal an automobile being equipped with a keyless entry system is liable to use a code scanner and transmit a recognition code to be increased or decreased at each constant value, or transmitting this recognition code at each constant time interval in many cases. Accordingly, a recognitive routine is executed each time the recognition code transmitted out of a key 11 is received by a receiver 13 via an antenna 12. This routine operates an antiscanning function at a time when a wrong recognition code being increased or decreased at each constant value within the specified time is detected several times and thus an automobile theft is prevented from occurring. |
