The seat consists of a section of padded material (31), carried by a frame (10). Facilities are provided to adapt part of the padding to the form of the user. The facilities consist of adjustable tension straps (28,30), which are carried by the frame, and are designed to co-operate with the padding, in the lumbar region, to adjust to the shape of the user and support the back.Each of the straps is fixed at one end to the upright side (22) of the frame, by means of fixed rings (32,34). The other end of each strap is attached on to a mobile ring (36,38). These are carried by the adjusting device (40) and this is controlled by means of a single element (42), which adjusts the absolute tension of each strap individually and the relative tension, between the two straps. |
