FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: the offered method of fastening of pieces of additional thread/filament 2 in knitted cloth in the common method of knitting, for instance, of the circular knitting machine, where a row of vertical needles 10 are continuously and successively moved from the lower position to the upper position and against to the lower position during formation of knitted course loops A joined with the another. Pieces 2′ of filament which are inserted during this common knitting process are fastened by thread ends 2 a of piece of filament by deflecting them back relative to the direction of knitting, and they are brought down between two new course loops A″, A″ formed by repeated operation of needles 10 in two neighboring loop courses and fastened between loop courses by closing the inserting port between them by means of new course loops A formed after this during the next operation of needles 10 and during tightening of the formed course loops. So ends 2a of piece 2′ of the filament are reliably locked in the knitted cloth and protrude out of knitted cloth. EFFECT: higher efficiency. |
