1,4-Disubstd. piperazines of formula (I), their optical isomers (pure or in the form of a mixt.) and their acid or base addn. salts are new. Ar1, Ar2 = phenyl or naphthyl (both opt. substd. by 1-3 of OH, 1-6C alkoxy, halo or 1-6C alkyl opt. substd. by one or more halo); X,Y = H; or X+Y = oxo gp.; RA = 1-6C alkyl.
