PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus which controls the transmission of force using electric field coagulation type fluidized particles having such a property that the flow resistance is changed by the coagulation in an electric field. CONSTITUTION: Electric field coagulation type fluidized particles contain an organic substance 2 having a property of coagulation by an electric field. The particles preferably contain inorganic-organic composite particles 10 which are composed of a core body 1 of an organic polymer and a skin layer 3 containing the inorganic substance 2. In an apparatus for controlling the transmission of force, the electric field coagulation type fluidized particles are placed between the electrodes.
