L, L<1>, L<2>=alkylene, arylene or alkylenoxy with at least 2 alkylenoxy units, which may be substd.; A=H, C, N, O or S or a divalent gp. of these atoms; m, n=0 or 1; E=-N(COR<11>)-, -N(COCNR<12>R<13>)-, -NR<14>COCONR<15>-, -N(COCONR<16>R<17>)-, -N(SO2R<18>)- or -N(COOR<19>)-; R<1-9> and R<11-19>=H, alkyl, aryl or heterocyclyl; or NR<1>R<2>, NR<3>R<4>, NR<5>R<6>, NR<7>R<8>, NR<12>R<13>, NR<16>R<17> or R<1>+R<3>+the N atoms=a ring; provided that R<9>=H or alkyl if E=-NR<14>COCONR<15>- or -N(COCONR<16>R<17>)-. Also claimed is light-sensitive photographic AgX material in which the AgX emulsion or another hydrophilic colloid layer contains cpd(s). (I) and/or (II).
