The outermost layer (1) is comprised of a plurality of sheets of low linear elongation and high density non-woven polyethylen and a second inner layer (2) is comprised of a plurality of woven sheets of ballistic para-aramide, in a highly weight-reduced arrangement, both layers being sewn to each other with an aramide or para-aramide yarn, forming a mesh (3) which circumscribes and limits the tearings, with the possibility of treating the sheets of the polyethylen layer during a certain length of time by application of pressure and temperature.
