The invention relates to a package unit (1) which comprises an outer package (4) and a condom (2) located therein and having the shape of a highly elastic, tubular sheath that is closed on one end and is rolled up in the packaged position about an annular rim bead (2b) at the open end of the sheath and into which strip-like members (3) of a thin, flexible and soft but stable material are included as an unrolling aid over the greater part of its length. In order to provide a package unit which permits the condom to be unrolled more quickly, more reliably and at the same time more gently with only one hand the invention provides that the outer package (4) be made of a tearable material and have intended breaking points (intended tearing lines) (e.g. 12 and 13) in the walls (5 and 6) on or opposite the condom opening, and that the ends (3a) projecting beyond the rolled-up condom (2) be fixed by several strip-like members (3), which are uniformly distributed over the circumference of the condom and are rolled by their other ends (3b) into the condom (2), essentially coaxially about the condom (2) on the inside of the outer package (4). <IMAGE> |
