PURPOSE: To enhance the transporting efficiency and a storage efficiency for sale by a method wherein a skirt part is provided in a cover, the cover is positioned just on instant food contained in a container body, and the skirt part is extended upward along the inner wall of the container body. CONSTITUTION: In a cover 3, a flat part 3a has such a height as to be positioned just on food 2 contained in a container 1, namely at almost the center of the container 1 in the height direction. Therefore, the height of the center part of the container 1 is almost half of the height of the side wall of the container. The cover 3 is made of a plastic and provided with a skirt part 3b along the inner wall of the container 1. An edge part 3d is provided on the skirt part 3b. The edge part 3d is engaged with an edge part 1a of the container body 1 by the elasticity of the plastic. When the food 2 is cooked, the cover 3 is removed, boiling water is poured into the container 1, and the cover 3 is reversed and put on the container 1. In this manner, another container is stacked in the recess of the cover 3, whereby a transport amount is about twice that in a prior art in the same transport space. |
