CONSTITUTION: When the maximum value of gradation which can be given to a picture is set to be Kmax and minimum value to be Kmin , and the range of the gradation of a picture element in the input picture is from the maximum value M to the minimum value N, the gradation value X of the input picture is converted into a gradation value Y. Gradation to which accumulated picture elements until the maximum value Kmax and the number of the accumulated picture elements following the maximum value Kmax reach a prescribed ratio of all the picture elements is considered to be the maximum value Kmax , and gradation to which the accumulated picture elements belong until the minimum value Kmin and the number of the accumulated picture elements following the minimum value Kmin reach a prescribed ratio of all the picture elements is considered to be the minimum value Kmin so as to execute a processing. The expression is applied to the picture elements except for the picture elements so as to execute the processing. |
