A novel organic white pigment which can be applied to an organic white pigment composition useful as a paper coating agent or an aqueous or oily ink or paint is provided. This organic white pigment consists of an alkylenebismelamine derivative, represented by the following general formula (I), <IMAGE> (I) wherein R is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms or alicyclic group, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are respectively same or different hydrogen atoms or lower alkyl groups containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R1 and R2, or R3 and R4 may respectively form heterocyclic groups with nitrogen atoms and X is a lower alkylene group containing 2 to 3 carbon atoms.
