<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer the copy of one or more jobs to one or more outputting/ storing destinations by processing both first and second composite segments in accordance with a synthetic job ticket. SOLUTION: A printing device 10 is provided with a printing machine 12 connected to a network service module 14. The machine 12 incorporates a video control module(VCM) 16 connected to a scanner 18 and printer 20. The VCM 16 adjusts the actions of the scanner 18 and printer 20 constituted in a digital copying structure. The scanner 18 reads the image of an original by using a full-width CCD array and converts the analog video signals of the array into digital signals. Then a picture processor connected to the scanner 18 performs signal correction, etc., converts corrected signals into multilevel signals, and stores the multilevel signals in an EPC memory after compression. During printing operation, the printer 20 reads the multilevel image data from the EPC memory and, at the same time, forms a latent image on a photosensitive body.</p> |
