PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition for coating which is excellent in adhesion and resistance to migration of a vinyl chloride plasticizer and to alcohols including a specific vinyl-modified chlorinated polyolefin polymer and a straight- chain aliphatic polyester resin. CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises (A) a vinyl-modified chlorinated polyolefin polymer which is prepared by polymerizing a double bond-containing polymerizable monomer containing an unsaturated organosilane of the formula (X is a group having a copolymerizable double bond; Y is a hydrolyzable group, a halogen; R is an inert organic group; m is 0-2; n is 1-3 where m+n=3) such asγ-methacryloxylaurylpropoxy-dimethoxysilane and (B) a straight-chain aliphatic polyester resin. As an unsaturated double bond-bearing polymerizable monomer other than the unsaturated organosilane of the formula, is preferably an alkyl (meth)acrylate.
