PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently route specify a packet to be an origin or a destination when a moving unit is moved within the range of the different access point of a network. SOLUTION: Every time the moving unit 22 is moved from the range 23 of the certain access point 21 of the network to the range of the different access point, position information is updated. At the time of transmission from a cable network 20 to the moving unit 22, the packet is transferred from an initial access point to the present access point 21 present within the range of the moving unit 22 by definition. In the case that the packet of a session is transmitted from the moving unit 22 to the cable network 20, the access point substitutively receives the packets and specifies a route to the destination or starts route discovery. In the case that the packet is transmitted between the moving units of the different access points, the packet is not passed through the initial access point and transmitted between the present access point.
