PURPOSE: To provide a liquid sample holder and a liquid sample analyzer, which can eliminate the error of the measurement due to the influence of a container and which can reduce the running cost. CONSTITUTION: A sample holder is formed of a sample bag 10 for holding the liquid sample, a support cylinder 11 for supporting the sample bag 10, a presser ring 12 for fixing the sample bag 10 to the support cylinder 11, a piston 13 for pushing up the sample bag 10 from under the sample bag 10 so as to displace the liquid surface of the liquid sample SP, and a piston driving unit 14 for driving the piston 13. A liquid surface measuring unit is formed' of a light source 20 for emitting the light beam toward the liquid sample SP, a light receiving element 21 for receiving the light beam, which can be cutoff by the liquid sample SP, and a control circuit 22 for controlling the light source 20 and the light receiving element 21 and for controlling the piston driving unit 14 on the basis of the signal from the light receiving element 21. |
