PURPOSE: To miniaturize an optical disk device itself by inserting and installing a bag into a disk cartridge housing part in the optical disk device in order to fix an optical head in the device and filling air into the bag at the time of moving the device. CONSTITUTION: The bag 23 is made of polyethylene, and a disk cartridge (not shown in the figure) is held between a base 2 and a cartridge holder 22 at the time of ordinary use. At the time of transportation of the optical disk device, the bag 23 is inserted into the device, and at this time, an inserting hole shutter 21 is opened, and the bag 23 in a flat state is disposed the cartridge holder 22 from the side of a front panel 24 of the device. At this inserting time, if such a jig for attachably and detachably holding the bag 23 at both ends is used, positioning, etc., can be facilitated. The base 2 is not extended over a cartridge 3, and hence an optical head part 29 is directly abutted against the bag 23. Then, air 25 is supplied into the bag body 23 from the side of the front panel 24 of the device by an air supplying means, so that the bag 23 is largely expanded in the cartridge holder 22. |
