PURPOSE: To miniaturize a device and to monitor the runaway of a program relating to the control method of a processor for performing various signal processings in program control. CONSTITUTION: After initialization, the arithmetic operation of a cyclic code is performed by a prescribed parameter and a first arithmetic result is stored (S1 and S2.) At the time of main program execution, the arithmetic operation of the cyclic code is performed by the same parameter and a second arithmetic result is stored (S3-S5). Then, the first and second arithmetic results are read and compared, the program runaway is judged when they do not match and program normality is judged when they match (S6). |
