PURPOSE:To reduce the cost by storing the solar energy radiated to a slant face in a thermal storage tank in the slant face via thermal diode type heat pipes, and feeding the solar energy to the lower side of the road surface via a hot-water circulation path at the time of a snow cover. CONSTITUTION:A slant concrete layer 4 receiving the sunlight nearly vertically is formed near a traveling road surface 1, and it is coated in black. A thermal storage tank 10 covered with a heat insulating waterproof material 11 is provided in the ground inside the layer 4, and a thermal storage medium 12 such as hot water, crushed stones, or soil is filled inside. The solar energy received by the layer 4 is transferred and stored in the medium 12. A hot-water circulation path 30 constituted of heat absorbing pipes 31 provided in the medium 12, radiating pipes 32 provided in the road surface 1, and a hot-water circulation pump 35 is formed. Heat is stored throughout, the year, the circulation path 30 is operated at the time of a snowfall, and the road surface 1 is heated from below to melt the snow. Thermal efficiency can be improved, and the running cost and facility cost can be saved. |
