PURPOSE: To provide the pneumatic tire by which a tire noise can be reduced without impairing the travel performance and which can be particularly suitably adopted for a 4WD car. CONSTITUTION: In a pneumatic tire where land parts sandwiched by mutually adjacent longitudinal main grooves 10 are formed in a plurality by arranging three or more longitudinal main grooves 10 extending in the tire circumferential direction and a block row 14 whose blocks 13 are juxtaposed in the tire circumferential direction is formed by arranging lateral grooves 12 to connect the longitudinal main grooves 10 to each other in at least one of these land parts, the blocks 13 have narrow grooves 15 having a groove width not more than 3mm. At the same time, the narrow groove ratio (SL/BL) being the ratio of the sum total SL of a length of these narrow grooves 15 to an outer peripheral length BL of the blocks 13 is set in 0.48 to 0.60. |
