The carbon fiber is prepared by chlorine resistance treating for 30min. at 200-300deg.C under an oxidative atmosphere; controlling independently tension in 2-7 steps with 200-500g/m while the change of tension in each step is over 10%; carbonization treating for 8min. at 1300deg.C under an inert gas to have cyclization index of 0.65-0.75.
