Method for two-sided pressing of moulds of particulate material in a mould row system

The method concerns pressing of moulds (5) of particulate material in a mould chamber (1) between a squeeze plate (2) and a pivot squeeze plate (3). It is characterised by, a) initially the mould material is subjected to one-sided precompression by motion of only one of the squeeze plates (2,3) towards the other, b) by motion of the two squeeze plates towards one another, without interruption of continuity of the precompression process, the latter is transformed into two-sided pressing of the mould, c) the degree of precompression is continually adjusted.
