Double glazing spacer frame handler

The handler (1) has a hanger device (40,43) which comprises glazing spacer hanger frame (40) with bracket arms (43). The handler has an arm (20) which reaches out beyond the support (3) and runs at a higher level than the hanger arms. A driver (26) fitted to the underside of the arm can move in steps along this (20), and a blocking element (30) reaches down off the arm and can be moved towards the support (3) against a load spring. The frame surround is designed as a carriage which is held in place by positioners (46,48) fitted to the handler. The blocking element pivots round a horizontal axis fixed in place in relation to the arm and is furnished with a position sensor to differentiate between deflected and non-deflected settings and accordingly cut out the driver (26) drive (25) when the blocking element is in its non-deflected setting.
