STYRENE RESIN PELLETS AND PRODUCT OF MOLDING THEREOF

Styrene resin pellets comprising a polar syndiotactic styrene polymer and, incorporated therein, glass fibers surface-treated with a coupling agent, having a glass fiber content of 10 wt. % or above, a pellet length of 2-100 mm, and a glass fiber length equal to the pellet length. The pellets have an excellent moldability and serve as the starting material for moldings improved in general properties, such as impact and heat resistances, and excellent in practical properties, such as tensile creep and vibrational fatigue resistances at temperatures as high as the glass transition temperature or above of the resin.
