PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a control circuit for a power semiconductor switch which is stable and has long life. SOLUTION: This circuit includes transformers T1 and T2 which supply both control information and control energy to a semiconductor switch SW1. An alternating current voltage signal that is produced by the transformers is rectified by rectifiers DB1 and DB2 and generates direct current voltage levels U1 to U3 which are suitable to control the on and off of the semiconductor switch. The voltage U1 which turns on the semiconductor switch is connected to a drive electrode of the semiconductor switch through a zener diode V2 and a 1st resistor R1. The voltage U3 which turns off the semiconductor switch is connected to the drive electrode of the semiconductor switch through a booster semiconductor switch V1 and also is connected to an emitter electrode of the semiconductor switch through a diode V4, and the voltage U2 which controls the booster semiconductor switch is connected to its drive electrode. |
