<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a stationary electric induction apparatus in which the dielectric strength and mechanical strength are enhanced at an electrostatically shielded part. CONSTITUTION: An insulator 11 comprising at least two layers is disposed on the outside of an electrostatic shield 2 and the permittivity of the insulator 11 is set lower than that of an insulation coating 3 applied around the electrostatic shield 2. The size of the insulator 11 is set substantially equal to or smaller than the linear part 'L' on the outer side face of the electrostatic shield 2 except the curvature parts thereof (parts 2a and 2b in the drawing). As shown on the drawing, the insulator 11 comprising at least two layers is constituted such that the jointing parts of respective layers are shifted from each other. Furthermore, the two layer insulator 11 is applied with a coating of insulation paper on the circumference thereof.</p> |
