DRUM FOR A RUBBER BELT CONVEYOR

The drum is designed for the rubber belt conveyors of the open-cast coal mines. It consists of a shaft (1) to which a ring (2) and sheathing (3) are mounted. Ring (2) is implemented as a uniting part of a hub, of a bottom and of part of 13 to 47% of the sheathing where the connections between ring (2) and the shaft (1) is effected by a spring connector (4). The drum is multiply dismantable and repair-fit as a result of the connector and has improved operational qualities as far as the time of wear and the magnitude of loading are concerned./!
