PURPOSE: To lessen the overflow of an adhesive to the side faces of a half mirror even if the amt. of the adhesive is too much by providing the adhesive surface of the half mirror with a groove. CONSTITUTION: This optical pickup device is constituted by providing the mirror adhering and holding surface 7a for fixing the half mirror 2 of the conventional device with the groove 10 for storing the adhesive 9. The adhesive 9 failing to enter the spacing between the mirror adhering and holding surface 7a and the front surface of the half mirror 2 is absorbed into the groove 10 formed in the holding surface 7a and does not, therefore, come out to the outer side of the mirror adhering and holding surface. Since the mirror adhering and holding surface 7a is provided with the groove 10, the adhesive 9 is sucked by utilizing capillarity and the groove is used as a well for the adhesive 9, by which the overflowing of the adhesive 9 is prevented. Consequently, the optical pickup device having good optical axis accuracy is obtd. |
