PURPOSE: To print without fault such as no discharge even at a low temperature and to prevent the difficulty due to the clogging of a filter, the reduction of an ink quantity by disposing one of a temperature sensor and a pressure sensor for detecting the pressure of an ink channel, and altering the recording sequence according to its output. CONSTITUTION: When a print command is fed (S1 ), a CPU 8 reads the output T1 of a temperature sensor 5 (S2 ), it is compared with the value T0 of the table of a ROM 7 to judge the size. If T1 >=T0 , printing is conducted as it is, while if T1 <T0 , a print mode is altered (S4 ). As the mode of this case, a mode for reducing the number of dots per hammering within a unit time is selected. For example, only dots of even number (or odd number) is printed of lattice points marked with dots. In this case, through the printing density is lowered, throughput is not altered. |
