FIELD: gas generators. SUBSTANCE: gas generator has many zones of molten iron for conversion of starting materials containing hydrogen and carbon, for example, propane, resin from which bitumen is removed by means of solvent, etc. essentially, pure hydrogen and CO/COflows under pressure by introducing carbon into molten metal in first zone or in reservoir followed by circulation of molten metal at contact with oxygen-containing gas into second zone or reservoir. It is preferably that hydrogen is formed in third zone or reservoir and carbon oxides are formed in second zone or in reservoir. Diameter of reservoir is 1 m which makes it possible to produce 20000000 standard cubic feet of hydrogen from methane daily at pressure ranging from 2 to 50 atm. EFFECT: increased productivity. |
