The device has a two-part housing (1), which is screwed together via a flange (23), and has an internal ring cylinder chamber. A cylindrical extension contains a two-bearing floating hollow drive shaft (7) with a piston (8). A full floating shaft (6) is fitted into the drive shaft, and is secured against axial movement. A piston seal (14) in a groove in the piston edge is connected to two round ring sections (11) via two webs (25). Sections and webs are located in grooves in the drive shaft surface. Stops (21) with pressure medium connections (22), together with end position braking, limit the piston movement swivel angles. The housing contains position switches, which are operated by a solenoid on the drive shaft.
